Last weekend I mentioned on my Instagram that I was considering sharing some recipes that I’ve tried. I was so happy to see so many message me and say, “YES PLEASE!”

I will be the first to tell you that when it comes to meal prep….I’m lazy. I don’t really meal prep. I do, however, try to plan at least a few dinners each week and something sweet too. How do I find new recipes? Pinterest! Click here to follow my boards.

Paleo Italian Chicken Fingers

This is a very easy recipe for when you’re craving fried chicken! Make low carb (and healthy!) chicken parmesan by pairing these chicken fingers with spaghetti squash (or your favorite veggie noodles) and spaghetti sauce. You can also make these without the italian seasoning to go in your salad or with your favorite (df gf) dipping sauce!

Bacon Brown Sugar Garlic Chicken

Oh my gosh, this recipe is DELISH! Easy to throw together and fits a regular macro day IF you plan for it. We had this over rice but it would’ve gone well with a potato of any kind. I would also suggest pairing with green beans or asparagus. This recipe makes A LOT and we had plenty of leftovers. You might want to save this recipe for a leg day as it does have 23g sugar.

Peanut Butter Breakfast Cookies

This morning I wanted to make something sweet, so I started scrolling around on LL Balanced’s website. She makes a lot of traditional recipes using healthier ingredients. They always turn out SO well, which is why she is my favorite food blogger right now. I have made several recipes from her cookbook (highly recommend) and website and not one of them has been a disappointment. You will definitely be seeing quite a few of her recipes shared here in the future! Another thing that I love is that most of her recipes have a low glycemic index which is great for my insulin resistance and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Anyway, definitely recommend this recipe!
